Configuration
HOW TO CONFIGURE
A NEW ID GENERATOR
Navigate to XIDGenerator Admin
Go to Administration → XIDGenerator → XIDGenerator Entity-Field Configurer and click "New" to begin.
Select Target Entity & Field
Choose the SageCRM entity (e.g. Company, Person, Case) and the specific field that will store the generated ID.
Choose a Sequence
Select or create a sequence that defines the numbering pattern — starting number, increment, and padding length.
Configure Prefix & Suffix
Set prefix and suffix options using Text, FieldValue, or CurrentUserInitials types. Preview the output format before saving.
Save & Go Live
Save the configuration. XIDGenerator will immediately begin generating IDs for all new records matching the configured entity.
